Career fair planned for students, community, today at University of Lethbridge

The University of Lethbridge is holding its Fall Career Fair today, one it’s billing as the largest in the region, with over 200 recruiters expected to take part. 

“We have everything from the Canadian Armed Forces to local accounting firms. We have a lot of not-for-profits coming, as well as, health services companies, like Convenant Health. We have Lethbridge Fire & Emergency Services. If you name an industry, we probably have them,” says Kirsten Meiszinger, the Events and Communications Administrator at Career Bridge, which helps students with employment opportunities.

However, for this particular career fair, Meiszinger says it’s open to the entire community.

The event takes place at the U of L’s Co-op Centre for Sport & Wellness today from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
