Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce to take leadership of Team Lethbridge advocacy group

At its annual general meeting this morning, the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce said it will assume the leadership of a project that’s become known as ‘Team Lethbridge.’ 

The concept sees business, industry, local government and community organizations from the region connect with the provincial government to build bridges and strengthen relationships. 

Team Lethbridge was created in 2008 by Economic Development Lethbridge and has featured eight missions to Edmonton, since then, to meet with provincial ministers and government officials. 

In making the announcement, Chamber CEO Cyndi Crane thanked EDL for establishing the group and building it into the respective initiative it is today, adding, planning for the next mission is underway.
