Raging Grannies to stage demonstrations Friday on referendum constitutional questions

The Raging Grannies of Lethbridge and area are planning two noon-hour referendum rallies today for both the Bridge City and Pincher Creek.

Like last week, protest signs will be carried outside the Civic Centre at 6th Avenue and Stafford in Lethbridge and the Provincial building in Pincher.

However, unlike last week when the demonstration was over immigration questions on the ballot, today will focus on the constitutional queries.

Organizers of the event say anyone is welcome to join in the rally by bringing a poster or banner, or Canadian flag.
