Partnership established between polytechnic and cultural centre to study Indigenous misinformation

Lethbridge Polytechnic and the Ninastako Cultural Centre are working together on a project to address misinformation relating to the Indigenous community. 

The study will look into both how misinformation is spread and the impact it has on communities, and what can do done to address the issue. 

Being carried out through the school’s Centre for Public Safety Applied Research, it will bring together a wide range of community members.

Among those involved in providing input into the analysis will be Elders, Knowledge Keepers, community leaders, educators, and students.
