A group of Vulcan residents opposed to the building of an AI data centre in the county will get to have their say at a special hearing sometime next year.

Calling itself the Vulcan Transparency Project, the membership say their against the rezoning of agricultural land near the Travers Reservoir.

In a statement, the group said the legal case is about protecting the integrity of the public decision-making process and that any decision is fair and lawful.

Those behind the project say they’ve created a website that highlights documents, facts, and key issues that relate to the Palliser Grid proposal.
