U of L introduces new multidisciplinary Masters of Arts program

The University of Lethbridge is expanding its program base to include a new multi-disciplinary masters degree in Fine Arts.

“An MFA (Master of Fine Arts) in New Media, an MFA in Arts, and an MFA in Drama,” Dr. Bryn Hughes, the faculty’s association dean outlined, when asked about what’s in place now.

“So, our new program is a Master of Arts program, which is multidisciplinary in nature. So, it’s not specifically tied to any one of those particular practices.”

The university says graduates will be prepared for careers in the arts and culture sectors, as well as further education and research work.
