Town of Claresholm holds advanced vote for councillor byelection

The Town of Claresholm held an advanced vote last Thursday, ahead of Byelection Day on Monday of next week.

Chief Returning Officer Karine Keys says that 120 votes were cast in the advanced poll, about four-percent of eligible voters.

Voting next Monday, which also coincides with the provincial referendum, is slated from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. at the Agriplex on 59th Avenue West.

Residents have two names to choose from for the current vacant position for councillor – Perry Pelletier or Diana Ross.
