Highway 3 Bridge westbound lanes to be closed for construction

The City of Lethbridge has temporarily closed a section of the Highway 3 bridge over the Oldman River today, Oct. 15.

Effective 9:00 a.m., the left-hand westbound lane has been closed while crews conduct repair work on the west end of the bridge, with plans to shift to the right-hand lane once the repairs are complete.

One westbound lane will remain open at all times.

The City is asking all drivers to obey any posted signage and reduced speed limits to keep everyone safe.
