Lethbridge Food Bank holds ‘cereal killer” food drive
The Cereal Killer is back!
Sponsor Energy and the Lethbridge Food Bank are inviting residents and local businesses to help “kill hunger” at their annual cereal drive on Oct. 21, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Pizza 73 parking lot on Mayor Magrath Drive South in Lethbridge.
Cereal continues to be one of the Lethbridge Food Bank’s most-needed items. With growing demand for food support in the community, officials say the event offers a simple way to make a meaningful difference: bring a box of cereal and help fill the truck.
Food bank officials say every box donated helps provide a breakfast option for individuals and families facing food insecurity. Whether contributing a single box or collecting donations with coworkers, every contribution helps stock the food bank’s shelves, officials point out.
