Lethbridge, Pincher Creek courthouses among announced security and technology upgrades

The Alberta government is putting $6 million towards security upgrades at 10 courthouses across the province, including Lethbridge and Pincher Creek. 

Among the improvements will be better building access, updated emergency systems, and more secure and safer prison transfer areas. 

Albertans expect courthouses to be secure spaces for everyone who works in, visits, or relies on our justice system, said Attorney General Mickey Amery. 

Work should be complete by sometime next year.
