NELSON ROBERT BROWN, of Lethbridge, AB, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the age of 72 years.

He is mourned by a loving family from BC to Quebec, spanning five generations.

Nelson is survived by his sisters: Carol, Barbara, Susan and Karen; brother Ronnie; his children Teri, Amanda & Patrick; and four grandchildren, as well as dozens of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was sadly predeceased by his mother Jean (Cowan), father Kenneth, and brother Russell.

Nelson was born in Lachute, QC, and moved to the Ottawa Valley. He graduated from Athens District High School. He started a family and moved to Alberta in 1979, where he worked in many different fields, including Oil & Gas, Agriculture, and Transportation, where he was respected as reliable and hard-working. He had fond memories of working in the bush with his father and brothers, and relished his return trips to Ontario to see family and friends.

Nelson was an enthusiastic sports fan, loved collecting memorabilia and he had a green thumb.

He was funny, charming, engaging and the most loyal friend.
