City of Lethbridge establishes ‘standardized’ hours for Waste & Recycling Centre

Like its County neighbours, the City of Lethbridge is creating year-round standardized operating hours at one of its facilities – the Waste & Recycling Centre. 

Starting Monday, the centre will be open to the public Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., but closed on statutory holidays, except for Family Day in February and Boxing Day in December.

The elimination of extended Summer hours is expected to save the City close to $82,000 in cost for 2027 and, it says, provide more consistency for residents and customers.
