Hurricanes end road trip on a high note with 4-1 win over Pats
REGINA, SK – The Lethbridge Hurricanes started slowly on Saturday, Mar. 2, but thanks to a four-goal 2nd period they capped off their four-game road swing through Saskatchewan with a 4-1 win over the Regina Pats.
With the Hurricanes playing the second game of a back to back, it was the Pats starting off better in the 1st period but thanks to the continued steady play of goaltender Carl Tetachuk they couldn’t get on the board.
There was no scoring in the opening frame thanks in part to Tetachuk, while Regina held the edge in shots in the 1st period 13-9.
It was a different story to start the 2nd period when the Hurricanes continued their streak of quick strike offence. First, it was Nick Henry scoring against his old club when he beat Pats goaltender Max Paddock to the glove side at 3:30.
