Integra Air suspends Lethbridge-Edmonton service

May 7, 2018 | 9:51 AM

LETHBRIDGE – It appears fliers have one less option for travel out of Lethbridge Airport, at least for the time being.

Integra Air confirms it has suspended its daily flights between Lethbridge and Edmonton. An employee at the airline’s head office in Calgary said it was due to an operational restructuring.

She added the company hoped to have the flight going again by September at the latest.

The arrival/departure board on Lethbridge Airport’s website continued to show the Integra flights for Monday, May 7. The only other scheduled flights serving the airport are to Calgary via Air Canada. WestJet Link currently plans a June date for the start of its Lethbridge-Calgary service.

In response to a phone call from Lethbridge News Now, Lethbridge County released the following statement:

“The Lethbridge Airport received notice on May 4, 2018 that Integra Air will be ceasing operations at the airport as of May 7, 2018.  It is disappointing to lose a valuable regional service for passengers.”

(This story has been updated with a corrected statement from Lethbridge County regarding the date the service ended.)
