EDMONTON -- Premier Rachel Notley has formally apologized on behalf of Alberta to the survivors of the so-called '60s Scoop for the province's part in seizing Indigenous children from their families and alienating them from their culture.

RED DEER -- Alberta United Conservative leader Jason Kenney says he won't speak to the policy resolutions to be debated at his party's founding policy convention this weekend, but if he gets a mandate to fight carbon taxes he'll use it immediately.

EDMONTON - Alberta has introduced legislation to keep protesters at least 50 metres away from abortion clinics, and to make it illegal for demonstrators to video, record audio or take pictures of people entering or leaving the building.
