WESLEY CLAIR ANDREWS, husband of Evelyn Ruby Andrews of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on March 22, 2016 at the age of 92 years.

He is the loving father of Larry (Lynne) Andrews and Valerie (Madeson) Schmold of Lethbridge, grandchildren Jamie (Mike) Mauro of Lethbridge, Nichole (Corey) Flynn of Calgary, Braedon Schmold of Lethbridge and four great-grandchildren.

Wesley is also survived by four siblings: Raymond (Ellen) Andrews, Delvin (Francis) Andrews, Shirley(Jim) Pederson, Melva Siebert and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Lily Andrews, his brother Delbert Andrews and his sister Lela Andrews.

Wesley was born on July 16,1923 in Vauxhall, the third child of John and Lily Andrews.  He started school in Coaldale then attended Crystal Lake School.  Wes grew up on a farm and agriculture was his passion. He married Evelyn Schaufert in 1953 and farmed in the Coaldale area until 1996 when he retired and moved to Lethbridge. He loved to tinker and enjoyed gardening in his little piece of land in the backyard. After breaking his hip in late 2014, he moved to Legacy Lodge where he resided until his passing. Wes took great pride in his family, never losing his love for good conversation.

A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, Alberta on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Trevor Potter officiating.
