December 29, 1934 – November 20, 2024

ELIZABETH AUER, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Engelbert Auer, passed away peacefully at Chinook Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the age of 89 years.

Elizabeth was born in Hungary to parents, Katrina and Johann Wetzel. She grew up in Hungary and later, moved to Austria where she met her husband, Engelbert.

The family emigrated to Canada in 1950. Together, Bert and Liz raised three boys: Henry (deceased), Hubert and Richard.

Elizabeth loved to cook and garden. She treasured her time with her grandkids, and kept the wooden spoon close to her. She loved her flower and her angels, and now, she is one.

As per Elizabeth’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held.
