It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father and “Papa” RICHARD WILLIAM BROWN, of Lethbridge, who passed away unexpectedly at St. Michael’s Health Centre, on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the age of 70 years.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Tamara (Jim) Mulock and their children Connor and Avery of Lethbridge, daughter Heather (Kevin) Brown and their children Madelaine and Emily of Valley, N.S. and son Ryan (Ludy) Mennie and their children Reina, Tristan and Amaya of Lethbridge. He is sadly missed by his former wife Sandra Brown (née Schmidt), with whom he kept up a lasting friendship. He is also survived and missed by his brothers Ian (Colleen) Brown and Doug (Lynda) Brown, his brother-in-law Grant Schmidt as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Richard was predeceased by his mother Lillian Brown (née Majeski) and father Wesley Brown.
Richard was born and raised in Edmonton AB, where he also met and married Sandra. Together, they lived in Edmonton, Stirling and Lethbridge with their three children.
Richard was employed with BFI Canada where he worked as a truck driver until his retirement in 2012. He loved to travel extensively on various road trips and holidays. After his retirement, Richard enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Richard will be forever loved and dearly missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Richard’s Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, attendance will be limited. Kindly RSVP your attendance to Cornerstone at 403-381-7777 or care@cornerstonefh.ca
