TONI DIESER, 85, of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Toni was born on November 13, 1940, in Kaunus, Lithuania to Siegfred and Irma Strafehl. After moving to Canada, Coaldale Alberta, became her home for many years. That is where she raised her three children: Karen, Debi, and Mark. During this time, Toni dedicated herself to being a kindergarten teacher and school bus driver. Later in life, she transitioned to jewelry sales, spending nearly 30 years at Wards Jewelry.

Those who knew Toni will miss her loving, sarcastic, and funny self. She cared deeply for her family and ensured everyone was taken care of every day. She established lifelong friendships and remained in contact with everyone throughout her life. She loved socializing and cherished being with people who were able to make her laugh. Laughter was essential in her life. Her lifelong wisdom was to be kind, work hard, and look on the bright side of things.

Toni leaves behind her children: Karen (Al) Gukert, Debi (Peter) Andersen, and Mark (Andrea) Dieser; along with her five grandchildren: Rachel (Mike) Michaelis, Ryan Gukert, Aaron (Hayley) Gukert, Ethan (Mya) Dieser, and Emma Dieser.

Our dear Oma and Mom, and her unwavering love, will be missed dearly every day.

A Come and Go Celebration of life will be held at NIKKA YUKO JAPANESE GARDENS, 835 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Monday, May 25, 2026 from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
