It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of EVELYN ROSALEE HILLMER (née Wakefield) peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on August 13, 2026 at the age of 85 years.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Wes (Shawna) Hillmer, their children, Cody Hillmer (Ashley Suitor), and Cody’s children, Sadie, Kashlyn, and Bo;  and Cassie (Brad) Resch, and their children, Paisley and Cooper.

She is also survived by her son, Clint (Marilee) Hillmer, and their children, Casey Hillmer (Kristin Nakamura), and their children, Blakely, Wehlen, and Courtney (Brant) Jones, and their children, Mazie, Emry, and Clyde.

A Graveside Service will be held at the MAGRATH CEMETERY, 5319-5331 Range Rd 221A, Magrath, AB, on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 1:00 P.M.
