Jochem, Izeline

IZELINE JOCHEM, beloved wife of the late Adam Jochem of Lethbridge, passed away at the Coaldale Health Centre, on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at the age of 98 years.
Izeline is survived by her sons, David (Helen) Jochem of Innisfail, Lester (Kathleen) Jochem of Taber, Perry (Rana) Jochem of Penticton and Brent (Irene) Jochem of Lethbridge, 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, her sister, Harriot Northam, her son-in-law, David Lodermeier, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughters, Marilyn Lodermeier and Joan Lodermeier, her son-in-law, Gerry Lodermeier, her sisters, Florence Livingston and Mary Losing and her brother, George Saunders.
Izeline Saunders was born in Milk River on September 4, 1919. She married Adam Jochem in 1938 and together they farmed in the Coutts area from 1949 to 1973, and then retired to Lethbridge. Her loving husband, Adam, passed away in 1999. Izeline was always hard at work on the farm or caring for her six children. She loved to cook, camp and fish. She loved and cherished the many grandchildren and great-grandchildren she had in her life.
A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 1:00 P.M.
Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Coaldale Health Centre, 2100 – 11 Street, Coaldale, AB T1M 1L2.
