MARGUERITE “MARGARET” LAMOUCHE, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Michael Lamouce, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at the St. Michael’s Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit, on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the age of 75 years.

Margaret is survived by her children: Charlene of Spruce Grove, Kevin of Edmonton, Sarah (Devin) of Fort Nelson, Mike (Jody) of Lethbridge, Sandra (Lowell) of Fort Macleod, John of Lethbridge, Maria (Jeff) of Lethbridge and Julie (Derek) of Lethbridge; grandchildren: Sammi, Julia, and Ben; Jacob; Justice, Everett, Kalyn, Maggie, and Wapiti; Michael, and August; Matt, Asaan, and Sinopa; Nico, and Roselyn; Aidan, and Alex; and Daniel; as well as great-grandchildren: Nathan, Keaston, and Kierra.

Margaret was a deeply loved wife, mother, kohkom, sister, and friend, whose life was rooted in generosity, humour, and unwavering devotion to her family. Born with a strong spirit and a gentle heart, Margaret dedicated her life to creating a warm and welcoming home where everyone felt cared for and valued.

She cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, taking great joy in watching her family grow. Whether she was cooking for a house full of loved ones, offering a listening ear, or celebrating the achievements of her grandchildren, Margaret found happiness in the simple and meaningful moments of everyday life.

Known for her calm presence, her gentle wisdom, and her steady encouragement, Margaret touched the lives of many. She carried herself with humility and grace, always putting others first and offering support wherever it was needed.

Her passing leaves a deep sadness, but her legacy lives on in the stories told, the lessons shared, and the love carried forward by her family and all who knew her. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed.

A Celebration of life will be held in the Spring of 2026.
