PEGGY MACDONALD, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the age of 80 years.

Peggy was predeceased by her parents Dorothy and David Coutts, and brothers Donald and Ian (Carolyn) Coutts.

She is survived by her sons, Terry (Marla) and Allen (Kate) McDonald; and daughter, Deana McDonald of Lethbridge; five grandchildren: Krista (Kyle) Nygaard, Mandi Lumley, Kody McDonald, Jason (Ashleigh) McDonald and Tyler (Jenna) McDonald, all of Lethbridge; and five great-grandchildren. She was also survived by her brothers, Wayne (Cindy) and Art (Lil) Coutts of Lethbridge.

Peggy was born and passed away at St. Michael’s in Lethbridge. She attended Sunnyside School and finished high school at McNally. In her early years, Peggy worked as a hairdresser, ultimately, finding a passion in childcare, where she worked in the nursery at Aslan Daycare until her retirement in 2004. Peggy was also an active member of the Central Church of Christ for many years.

Peggy’s quiet courage, strength of spirit and sense of humour will be carried forward by those who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

A Graveside Service will be held at MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY, 1210 – Scenic Drive North, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, September 1 at 2:00 P.M. with Pat Siedlecki officiating.
