Sept 1948 – April 2021
Through our children’s eyes,
My grandma loved me.
She had the best iced tea, abundant candy and skittles in her Altoids box.
I learned to drive the golf cart so we could go around and visit her friends in Yuma.
Grandma taught me to gamble and let me win when we played cards. The pot was all her money.
She loved to laugh. She would get me to flex my muscles then giggle.
I learned recipes of her past. Perogies, cabbage rolls and lasagna.
Grandma loved to listen to me sing, play piano and guitar.
She was very proud of all of us.
We have memories of going to Disneyland, camping in Penticton and having bath time with her chasing us down the hall with her baby powder puff.
Grandma tucked me into her bed with kettle corn to watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune before bed.
We saw her as the Peacekeeper and organizer of her tribe.
From a very young age she loved her “Teddy”
I Love You, Love you more, Love You the Most
