It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of BRAEDON JAYCE SCHACHT, of Lethbridge, AB, who left us on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at the age of 22 years.

Born on September 11, 2003, Braedon brought an abundance of light, kindness, and energy into the world. He was a deeply caring young man who lived life with an open heart and an infectious enthusiasm for the world around him.

Braedon was a true adventurer, always ready to try new things and explore new horizons. He found joy in skateboarding and hiking through nature. He had a love for music and appreciation for meaningful lyrics. He was beginning a journey of writing his own. He shared an inseparable bond with his dog, Oliver, who was a constant companion on his outdoor journeys.

His adventurous spirit and gentle nature will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

He is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his parents, Doug Schacht and Tarri Cervo; his brothers, Dustin and Jarred Schacht; his grandparents, Bev Dyck and Margarette Schacht; and a wide circle of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honour Braedon at the WESTMINSTER COMMUNITY HALL, 411 16 Street North, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 4:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Braedon’s name to the Fresh Start Recovery Centre (freshstartrecovery.ca).
