GERALD RAYMOND SHENTOWSKI of Stirling, AB, passed away at Raymond Health Center on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the age of 82 years.

Gerald was born in France, on August 4, 1933. He was educated in France. After College he worked for Renault Car Company. On a sight-seeing tour of Canada, he arrived in Alberta and decided that Alberta would be his home. He became a Canadian citizen in the 1960’s. His life work was with Geophysical exploration in Canada and many countries around the world. He made many friends along the way.

Gerald is survived by nephews and nieces in France and by the families that adopted him  in Canada; the Winkler, Eggen and Smith families.

A Memorial Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Wednesday , February 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm.

Following the service, relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #4,  on Mayor Magrath Drive S., Lethbridge. 

In memory of Gerald, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Community and Family Services, 1249-3rd Ave. S. Lethbridge.
