MANLEY SINCLAIR, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital with his devoted wife Violet by his side, on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at the age of 82 years.
Besides his loving wife of 36 years, Violet, he is survived by his four sons: Neil (Sandy), Dean, Lorne and Todd (Jennifer) and daughter Janet, as well as his grandchildren: Kevin, Stephanie, Jordan, Tyler, Tanner, Jayden, Gage and Tristen. Manley is also survived by his sisters Marilyn (John) and Linda (Michael) and brothers-in-law Stan (Ester) and Bruce and many nieces and nephews.
Manley was predeceased by his father, Floyd Sinclair, mother Helen Gier Mehlen Sinclair, stepfather Olaf Mehlen, brother-in-law Lloyd Schwark and sister-in-law Daisy McManus.
Manley was employed by the City of Lethbridge prior to his retirement. He was a talented singer and guitar player, who entertained at family gatherings and City of Lethbridge Christmas parties. His repertoire included many country and western songs, including “I got my education out behind the barn”.
He was a farm boy at heart. Manley also enjoyed the outdoors and he and Violet spent many summer adventures out camping and fishing.
A Come and Go Reception will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Manley, donations may be made in his name to the Lethbridge Alzheimer Society, #40, 1202 – 2 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 0E3.
