It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of HELEN SNOWDEN (née Kovacs). She left us peacefully on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the age of 86 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Winston, her parents, Geza & Julia, her sister, Sarah and her brother, Ernest.
She was fiercely protective of those she loved: her sons, Doug (Rhonda), Jim (Cathy) and Ken (Cathy), her grandchildren, Rick, Doug, Ron, Jessica, Britney, Cortney, Sunshine and Whyatt, as well as many great-grandchildren and extended family.
Helen was born in Raymond in 1932 and spent all her years in southern Alberta. She was a longtime cashier throughout Lethbridge and was recognized by many.
We will miss her wry sense of humour that those close to her were privileged to share.
Every tear shed was well-deserved. Love you, miss you and we will think of you every day.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, #200, 325 Manning Road N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 2P5 or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, #200, 119 – 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6.
Szeretlek Nagymama!
