LOIS D. STORY beloved wife of Phil Story, passed away on June 27, 2017 at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 91 years.
Along with her husband Phil, she is survived by her son Peter (Denise) Story of Lethbridge, and her daughter Patricia (Bruce English) Story of Edmonton, as well as with her three grandchildren Cathryn, Matthew, and Jane.
She was predeceased by her parents Peter and Myrtle Peterson, as well as her two brothers Lloyd and Garth Peterson.
Born in Grassy Lake, AB, Lois moved to Spring Coulee, AB as a child and attended school there. She then moved to Lethbridge as a teenager and graduated from High School at LCI.
Before she was married, Lois worked as a dental assistant and at Motor Car Supply. She married Phil Story in 1961 and had Peter in 1962, followed by Patricia in 1967.
Lois attended First United Church, and was also an active member of Eastern Star for many years. Some of her favourite activities included bowling, camping, cribbage, rummoli, and socializing with friends. After Phil’s retirement, the two travelled extensively throughout Canada and the U.S.A.
Lois was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother to us and we will miss her with all of our hearts.
A Celebration of Lois’ Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Mary-Yvonne Holm officiating.
