ADELHEIT “ADELL” SWATSKE, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Walter “Wally” Swatske, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the age of 70 years.

Along with her husband, Adell is lovingly remembered by her son, Max Mate (Tammy Simpson) of Raymond, daughter Jaime Mattae (Dori Dubetz) of Edmonton, step-daughter Allison Swatske-Meabry of Claresholm, and brother Max Schleusener of Vulcan.

She was predeceased by her step-son, Michael Swatske.

Adell emigrated with her family from Germany to Canada in 1953 when she was 3 years old. After residing in BC, they moved to southern Alberta, eventually settling in Taber. She spent her adult life in Lethbridge, making a home for her and her children. In 1994, Adell and Wally made a home together then married on February 11, 1995. In the last several years her health was compromised with a rare blood disorder then two battles with cancer. Five months ago she discovered her cancer had returned for a third time which she bravely fought until her passing.

Adell will be dearly missed by her family and all those that had the privilege to meet her.

Family and friends are invited to meet for a Time of Remembrance at WALLY’S RESIDENCE, on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 at 12:00 P.M.
