“Hurricane Anna” or “Queen Ann” as we would call her, was a fun loving individual always looking to get a laugh out of you. Ann accomplished a lot throughout her short life. In her younger years, she travelled from powwow to powwow in Canada and the USA, where she loved to dance women’s fancy, as well as attend round dances, dancing the night away. She enjoyed watching her movies especially Barney, Shrek, Mr. Bean and Toy Story. She could never get enough of playing with her play dough and fighting with her uncle Phillip. She loved listening to her powwow, round dance, rap, metal and Punjabi music, always singing along to all her songs. Line dancing was one of her favorite dances to get involved in. Anna attended school at Saipoyi Elementary, T’atsikiissaapo’p Middle School and continued onto Kainai High School where she graduated with her class of 2009.
