MARY EVE CATHERINE WALL (née Kubik), of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Darrell Wall, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at the age of 78 years, after a lengthy illness.

Mary was born in Lethbridge on December 24, 1947 to Paul and Maria Kubik.

Besides her loving husband of 53 years, Darrell, Mary is survived by her children, Brad (Lisa) and Shaylene (Alex); and grandchildren, Makaeo and Kruz Wall; along with her sisters Rose Hormoth, Dani Beet, and Millie Fen, as well as sister-in-law Darlene Spooner and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Pauline, brothers-in-law: Paul Juhar, Tony Hormoth, Kenneth Beet, George Fen, and Dwain Sponer; and nephews: Robert Hormoth, Dustin Spooner, and Davis Spooner.

Mary graduated from university at the top of her class, both as an undergraduate and as a graduate. She taught for 35 years at the Lethbridge Community College.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 – 12 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. with Father Kevin Tumback celebrating. A Celebration of Life will follow the Funeral Mass at All Saints Parish Hall (next door).
