September 23, 1945 – May 6, 2026

WILLIAM GLYNN WRIGHT passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta, at the age of 80.

Born in Taber, Alberta, Glynn lived a full and vibrant life grounded in family, friendship, music, and quiet strength. He was known by many as a steady and dependable presence — a true rock to those who loved him.

Glynn is lovingly remembered by his wife, Lisbeth Kohler (née Pedersen) Wright, and by his children: Shannon Davidoff (Barry), Karla Wright (Joe), Travis Wright, (Graham) and Curtis Wright (Shelley) as well as five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His family was deeply important to him, and his love for them remained constant throughout his life.

Over the years, Glynn worked in sales and real estate, where his natural ability to connect with people served him well. Beyond his work, he was perhaps most alive when surrounded by music. As a bass player and singer with the Stepp’n Stones band, he brought joy, rhythm, and camaraderie to countless gatherings and friendships over the years.

Glynn embraced life’s simple pleasures wholeheartedly: golf games with friends, guitar sessions, motorcycle road trips, music festivals, cheering on his favourite sports teams, and time spent with the people he loved most. He carried a calm steadiness that made others feel safe and supported. Whether through conversation, humour, music, or simply his presence, Glynn left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his strength, loyalty, warmth, and enduring love of life.

A Celebration of Glynn’s life will be held for family and friends at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS – WEST STAKE CENTER, 560 Highlands Blvd West, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 11:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre in Lethbridge through the Alberta Cancer Foundation (albertacancer.ca).
