LETHBRIDGE COUNTY, AB – Starting in 2023, the City of Lethbridge will no longer be the primary responder for emergencies in some areas of Lethbridge County.

The County noted in a news release on December 22, 2022, that the Towns of Coaldale and Coalhurst will incorporate these areas into their primary response zones, with supports from regional departments, including the City of Lethbridge. Portions of the County impacted by the change include areas immediately surrounding the City of Lethbridge.

The change will take effect on January 1, 2023.
