RCMP warrant round up leads to 11 arrests

CLARESHOLM, AB – A week-long warrant round up by the RCMP led to the arrest of multiple people.
The Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit targeted offenders with outstanding warrants within Claresholm, Fort Macleod, and Piikani Nation detachment areas over the course of a week. In total, 11 people were arrested, and officers executed 37 outstanding warrants for 45 charges.
The charges were summarized by the RCMP as follows:
- 28 Criminal Code
- 12 Traffic Safety Act
- Four Provincial Offences Procedure Act
- One Controlled Drugs and Substance Act
