Mobile mammography unit to visit Cardston February 27-28

Feb 26, 2017 | 10:50 AM

CARDSTON – Women who live in the Cardston area will have access to a mobile mammography machine for two days, beginning Monday, Feb. 27.
Alberta Health services says those between ages 50 and 74 are at most risk for developing breast cancer, and a mammogram is the most effective way to detect it. Early detection of cancer allows for more treatment options and a better chance at survival.
The trailer will be stationed at the Cardston Health Centre on the south side of the building at 144 2nd Street West.
Those who would like to book an appointment can do so, by calling 1-800-667-0604.
