WINDSOR, Ont. — A porn actress at the centre of a legal battle involving U.S. President Donald Trump has postponed a visit to Windsor, Ont., next week.

Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, was slated to appear at two venues in the city on June 13.

The 39-year-old adult film actress was to speak at the Higher Limits Cannabis Lounge about her life and work in the adult film industry as an actress and director, then take the stage at Cheetah’s of Windsor, a local strip club.

Cheetah’s posted a note on its Facebook page saying the events were postponed due to circumstances outside of their control but did not elaborate.

The note said Daniels would “announce a make-up date in the weeks to come” and that tickets would be refunded in full.

Daniels is currently embroiled in multiple lawsuits against the U.S. President and his attorney for defamation of character and the legality of a 2016 hush agreement in which she was paid $130,000 to keep quiet about an alleged affair with Donald Trump.

In the latest twist on Wednesday, Daniels claimed in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles that her former lawyer was a “puppet” for Trump and worked with his attorney to get her to appear on Fox News and falsely deny having sex with Trump. Daniels did not give the interview.
