Man with knife arrested in Taber after allegedly making threats

TABER, AB – In the early morning hours of Sunday, July 7th, Taber Police Service was called out for help.

A taxi driver told them that the man they were giving a ride to had a knife and was threatening to hurt people.

He reportedly left without paying his cab fare and was later confronted by police at a local home.

“The man was found to be intoxicated and uncooperative,” reads a social media post from Taber Police Service.
