Town hall meeting being set up to discuss drug crisis in Lethbridge
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Residents of Lethbridge will have an opportunity to ask questions to a panel of experts on the ever-evolving drug situation.
The exact date and time has not been set, but council approved a motion to establish the meeting.
The experts that will be invited include, but are not limited to, city council, Alberta Health Services, Health Canada, ARCHES, addictions experts, members of the city’s police, fire, and EMS services, and the province’s Associate Minister of Mental Health and Addictions Jason Luan.
If some of the experts are not able to make it and a question is directed towards them, the city has the option to forward the question to them.
