Investigation continues after northside home search

LETHBRIDGE, AB. — LPS continue an investigation following the execution of a search warrant at a northside home early Wednesday, May 13, morning.

Around 6:00-am, the Crime Suppression Team, with assistance from the Tactical Unit, executed a search warrant at a home along the 1700 block of St. Edward Boulevard North.

Neighbours in the area reported hearing shouting and the sound of police breaking down the home’s door. Officers have now secured the residence and there is no risk to neighbours or the public.

The investigation is ongoing and other information is available for release.
