LETHBRIDGE, AB. — It’s officially a “Snow Day” for many students around south-west Alberta on Monday.

Palliser schools will not be open and busses will not be running on November 9.

Horizon School Division will not have busses running on Monday, due to impassable roads. Rural school divisions have received word that snow plows are not making much headway due to poor visibility and blowing snow, requiring snow plows to be pulled out of services in some area.

As well, Westwind Schools report all classes across the division are cancelled for Monday.

For the Livingstone Range School Division (LRSD), some bus routes have been cancelled, while others are not. Please check the LRSD website for bussing status updates. Due to extreme weather/road conditions schools in Lundbreck, Pincher Creek, Fort Macleod, and Granum will be closed on Monday.

Both Palliser and Horizon are expecting busses to be back in service on Tuesday.
