Alberta underscores Critical Health Alert by way of an Emergency Alert

EDMONTON, AB. — Alberta has declared a Public Health Emergency to protect the health care system from COVID-19.

On Tuesday, Nov 24, Alberta Health Services issued a list of new restrictions aimed at reducing COVID-19 infections.

To ensure everyone is aware of the restrictions, an Emergency Alert message was sent out Thursday afternoon, to remind everyone that Indoor social gatherings are the top source of transmission.

All indoor social gatherings have been banned.

The ban will be enforced with $1,000 fines. For more information: www.alberta.ca/covidab
