EDMONTON, AB – Albertans are invited to help shape the 2021 provincial budget.

Telephone town halls with Minister of Finance Travis Toews will take place this week, with the first set for November 30.

The following two consultations will take place December 2 and 3.

“We are developing Alberta’s budget in a time of incredible challenge, which makes hearing from all Albertans even more important. Our mid-year fiscal update showed some improvement but the road to recovery is long,” Toews stated.

“Over the past year Alberta has been hit hard, but we are also the most resilient province in the nation. I look forward to hearing from Albertans as we tackle these challenges together.”
