Holy Spirit confirms additional COVID case at St. Teresa of Calcutta School

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Holy Spirit Catholic School Division has confirmed another case of COVID-19 at one of its schools.

Another case has been reported at St. Teresa of Calcutta School. This comes after the division confirmed one case on Monday. The new case was announced late Tuesday evening.

The division said all close contacts have been notified and are required to isolate following the directives of Alberta Health Services (AHS). It could not be said if the patient is a student or staff member.

As of Tuesday evening, Holy Spirit has nine active cases at five school sites (two at Catholic Central in Lethbridge, one at St. Joseph School in Coaldale, three at St. Mary’s in Taber, one at St. Michael’s School in Bow Island and two at St. Teresa of Calcutta in Lethbridge).

This has resulted in the isolation of roughly 245 staff and students.
