More COVID cases confirmed for Holy Spirit Catholic Division schools

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Holy Spirit Catholic School Division has confirmed some more COVID-19 cases at its schools.

Another case has been reported for St. Teresa of Calcutta School in Lethbridge. There are now three cases at the school.

One case has also been confirmed at Our Lady of the Assumption School in Lethbridge.

Holy Spirit says all close contacts have been informed and are required to isolate while following the directives provided by Alberta Health Services (AHS).

The division could not say if the patients were staff or students.

As of Sunday, December 13, Holy Spirit has seven active cases at four of its schools.

One case is at Our Lady of the Assumption School, one at St. Joseph in Coaldale, one at St. Mary’s School in Taber, one at St. Michael’s in Bow Island and three at St. Teresa of Calcutta in Lethbridge.

This has resulted in the isolation of roughly 190 staff and students.
