LETHBRIDGE, AB – People parking downtown won’t have to pay to do so until mid-January.

As of today, December 14, paid parking for downtown Lethbridge parking kiosks will be temporarily halted until January 15, 2021.

The kiosks will display the message: “No payment required at this time. Best wishes from the City of Lethbridge.”

Additionally, the City says two downtown monthly parking incentives that started in September, and were set to expire on December 31, will be extended to March 31, 2021.

Those incentives are:

  • A 50 percent reduction on the monthly Zone 10 parking permit price from $72 to $36
  • A 50 percent reduction on the monthly parking permit at the Lethbridge Park ‘n Ride Transit Terminal from $105 to $52.50
