Two COVID cases confirmed at Ecole St. Mary School in Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Two new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at Ecole St. Mary School in Lethbridge.

The Holy Spirit Catholic School Division said all close contacts have been notified and are required to follow the directives provided by Alberta Health Services.

It could not be said if the cases affected staff members and/or students.

“As always, we continue to work closely with Alberta Health Services to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff,” stated Holy Spirit in a release.

As of Tuesday, March 2, the division has five active cases (two at Ecole St. Mary, two at St. Francis Junior High School and one at St. Teresa of Calcutta), requiring the isolation of around 130 staff and students.
