May 7, 2021 | 12:00 PM

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge residents needing to access city services will temporarily have to do so online.

Lethbridge City Hall will be closing to the public on Monday, May 10 until further notice.

Residents are able to access City information from home and run a range of errands including paying for parking fines, renewing dog licenses, scheduling building permit inspections, renewing business licenses, or checking their utilities usage and payments.

This move will allow the city to stay in compliance with the provincial government’s COVID-19 restrictions.

“Alberta has entered a critical stage of the pandemic. The arrival of highly transmissible variants has put pressure on our health care system. Public health measures are required to protect the health system and reduce the rising spread of COVID-19 province-wide,” reads a statement from the City of Lethbridge.
