FORT MACLEOD, AB – UPDATE: The RCMP has confirmed the passing of Lane Tail Feathers. His death is being investigated as suspicious. More details here.

RCMP are asking for your help in finding a missing person.

Lane Tail Feathers was reported missing by his family and has not returned to his residence in Fort MacLeod since June 20, 2021.

It is believed that he may be in the Fort MacLeod or Lethbridge areas.

“The Fort Macleod RCMP’s investigation has indicated there is concern for his well-being and the Fort Macleod RCMP would like to speak to Lane and confirm his well-being. Fort MacLeod RCMP’s efforts to locate Lane have been unsuccessful,” reads a statement from Fort MacLeod RCMP.

Lane is described as 5’7″, 170 lbs, Indigenous, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Lane’s whereabouts is asked to call Fort MacLeod RCMP at 403-553-7200, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, or their local police.
