Applications still open for Lethbridge’s COVID-19 Housing Supplement Program
LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge’s COVID-19 Housing Supplement Program is still available for residents financially impacted by the pandemic.
The program was set up back in February, when Lethbridge City Council approved $500,000 in one-time funding, working alongside the Lethbridge Housing Authority as the administer of the program.
In a release, the city stated that “secure housing is key to keep the community stay safe and healthy.”
“This program is designed to help families struggling to make their housing payments during the pandemic. The uptake of the program has been slow to-date so all residents needing support are encouraged to apply.”
